He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra; his parents, George Ackley and Olive Pennell Ackley; his sister Norma Haynie; and his half-brother George Ackley, Jr..
He is survived by: his son Anthony; his daughter-in-law Rhonda; his daughter Suzanne; his grandchildren, Rose and Nick; his siblings, Beulah Stymiest, Annie Schencks and Dale Ackley; and his sister-in-law Patricia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
