He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Germain (McCann) and Everett Germain Jr.; and his siblings, Kevin Germain and Betsy Cary. He is survived by: his wife Ann Orrison; his children, Kimberly Germain, Brian Germain and Kelly Marshall (Eric); his grandsons, Corbin, Harrison and Orrin Marshall; and his siblings, Rusty (Radha), Greg Germain (Suzy) and Julie (Jeff Thompson).

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in contributions of Kip's honor to the Annandale Boys and Girls Club.
