It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Sue Keenan of Springfield, Virginia, born in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Mahler and Thekla Mahler; her brother George Mahler; and her granddaughter Shannon Burke. She is survived by: her husband Michael Keenan; her daughters, Maureen Burke (Bob) of Ridgewood, NJ, Kathleen Rickard (Mike) of Chanitlly, VA and Margaret; her grandchildren, Kylie, Bridget, Molly Burke, Kieran, Delaney Rickard, Patrick Albrittain (Caitlyn) and Lauren Boyd (Matt); her great grandchildren, Grayson, Campbell Albrittain and Baker Boyd; and her sisters, Elsie Marcotte (Donald) of Indianapolis and Alfrieda Mahler of St. Louis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
