He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Tingen and Toney Tingen; his brother Jans Tingen; his aunt June Tingen; and his cousins, Dwight and Mark Tingen.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Tingen; his daughters, Nancy Tingen, Sharon Barrett (Roy) and Sheila Oakes (Brian); his grandchildren, Emma and Michal Barrett; and his sister Elaine Silny. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
