He is survived by: his wife Bernice E. Reaves; his children, Robert "Bobby" Reaves, Jr. (Marsha) of Odenton, Roderick "Rico" Reaves of Hopewell, Virginia, Benita Reaves of Hopewell, Adrienne Reaves of Prince George and Hope Gholson of Newport News, Virginia; his grandchildren, Briana Hughes of Richmond, Virginia Diane Simms of Petersburg, Marissa Reaves of Odenton, Specialist Marvin Taylor of Ft. Campbell and Dr. Jennifer Johnson (Patrick) of San Diego, California; his great grandchildren, Harmoni Williams of Richmond and Mila Morgan of Petersburg, Virginia; his siblings, Thomas "Bunny" Reaves (Eva) of Prince George, Virginia, Hattie Bethune of Dinwiddie and Juanita Beard; his siblings-in-law, James Lester Dugger (Linda) of Newport News, John "Gus" Jones Jr. (Stephanie) of Oberlin, Warren Keith Jones (Charlene) of Ft. Washington, Gene Thomas Jones (Stephanie) of Venice, Florida, Lillie Mae Hall of Petersburg, Frances Garrett of Hopewell, Mary Harding (Tony) of Leander and Rose Taylor (Kenneth) of Kathleen, Georgia; and his friends, Jerry Brown of New Jersey, Franklin Ball of Richmond and Shelby Barnes of Hopewell, Virginia..
