She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Evangelist; her husband Elder James H. Saunders, Sr.; her son James H. Saunders, Jr.; her siblings, Robert Lee Holmes and Larnell Candie; her son Lawrence B. Saunders (Doris); her sisters, Lula M. Saunders (Rufus), Jean Reid, Martha Saunders, Lucille Shaw, Jerelene Baskerville (Edward) and Edith Holmes (Annie L. Vaughn); and her sister-in-law Florence Brown (George). She was also cherished by ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, a god daughter, along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
