He was predeceased by: his son George W.. He is survived by: his grandmother Etheridge Evans; his wife Nancy George Evans; his children, Janet, Dennis, Jr. and Stuart; and his former wife Virginia Evans. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
