She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Gordon Harrison; her parents, Robert Lee Holmes and Lula Mae Brooks Holmes; and her stepmother Florence Sykes Holmes. She is survived by: her parent-in-law Reverend; her children, Michael T. Harrison, Sr. (Alissa) of Williamsburg, VA, Deborah H. Dawson of Surry, VA, James M. Harrison (Cathy) of Surry, VA and Sheila H. McFadden (Willie J.) of Madison, AL; her grandchildren, Jason P. McFadden (Anthonique), Lakenheath Air Force Base, England, Cassandra W. Diggs (Adron) of Slidell, LA, Catherine J. Dawson of Surry, VA, Lauren M. Harrison Scott (Desmond) of Durham, NC, Michael T. Harrison, Jr. (Pei Han), Tokyo, Jesse L. Earls, MacDill Air, Jarrod M. Harrison of Durham, NC, Mitchell L. Harrison (Jessica) and Caitlin N. McFadden of Birmingham, AL; her great grandchildren, Bryson A. E. McFadden, Catherine E. Dawson, Nova J. McFadden and Kannon J. Diggs; and also, William B. Harrison and Parthenia Taylor Harrison. She is also survived by her children, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Due to the current health pandemic, only 50 people may be in attendance with adherence to facial coverings and social distance mandates.
