It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winston Davis Walton of Spout Spring, Virginia, born in Appomattox, Virginia, who passed away on September 9, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nell Davis Walton and Walker Scott Walton; and his sister Josephine Walker Walton. He is survived by: his spouse Glenice Van Cleef Walton; his children, Jill Harris (Jerry) of Appomattox, Roger Walton (Connie) of Appomattox, Russel Walton (Jennifer) of Appomattox and Amanda Stoltz (Kurt) of Winter Park, CO; his sister Shirley W. Kerns (Bill) of Harrisonburg; his grandchildren, Aaron Harris (DeAnn), Jordan Harris, Faith Walton, Josey Walton, Ethan Walton and Sadie Stoltz; his great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Brooklyn, Madden, Dillynger, Kellyn, Lynden, Caplyn, Ezra and Novalla; and his caregivers, Dorothy Shafer, Nadine Bateera and Brenda Bradley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
