She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Donald Barnes; her parents, John David Martin and Ollie Baber Martin; and her siblings, Mary M. Ferguson, John D. Martin and Allen R. Martin.

She is survived by: her sister June M. Taylor; and her nieces and nephews, Dolly Sowell, Donnie Ferguson (Aileen), Linda Dudley (Bill), Dean Martin, Debbie Mull, Tammy Stewart (Randy) and Allen Martin.
