He is survived by: his granddaughter Alison Elder Williams (Jake) of Appomattox; his siblings, Michael Elder (Lynn) and Nancy Wilcox (Buddy) of Appomattox; and his nephew Wayne Frank. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
