We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Lawrence Edwin Sayre of Spout Spring, Virginia, born in Madison, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clyde Sayre and Mildred Parsons Sayre; and his siblings, Ray Martin, Warren Sayre, Alice Sayre Chandler, Leo Sayre and Gene Sayre.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Cheatham Sayre; his children, Robbie Dunlap (Scott) of Lexington, N. C., Junior Sayre of Spout Spring, Scott Sayre (April) of Spout Spring, Jeff Sayre (Stacy) of Spout Spring and David Sayre of Appomattox; and his brothers, Ralph Sayre (Sally), Paul Sayre (Carol), Lloyd Sayre (Rita) and Frank Sayre of Ohio. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
