He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachel F. Goin and William H. "Bill" Goin; and his sister Dale Musick. He is survived by: his wife Barbara W. Goin; his children, Leslie D. Pugh (Roy) of Rustburg, Shaun T. Mayberry (Ximene) of Appomattox and Donna J. Preston (Kiva) of Appomattox; his grandchildren, Elliott Pugh, Angel Pugh and Omni Preston; and his sisters, Janie Morgan (Pamela Watson) and Boxer (Tigger).
