He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Willie James English; his wife Karen-Lilly English of Spout Spring; his children, Victor Lilly of Madison Heights, Omark English of Bedford and O'Quintessa English of Roanoke; his father Bernard Woods of Concord; his siblings, Lynnwood English (Loretta) of Roanoke, Ronald Eugene (Lois) of Roanoke, Richard Rucker of Roanoke, Betsy English of Roanoke, Barbara Taylor of New York, Mary English of New York and Martha Rucker of New York; and his brothers-in-law, Wilbur Johnson, Lynn Wheeler, Jr. (Rose), Reuben Wheeler (Barbara) of Appomattox, Bobby Lillie (Shirley) of Rice, Tony Wheeler and Reverend William R. Venable. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and friends.
