It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Kelso (Spout Spring, Virginia), born in Appomattox, Virginia, who passed away on December 6, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, George Flowers, Lena Watts, Agnes Carmen and Shirley Flowers. She is survived by: her parents, Edward Leon and Nellie Robinson; her children, Harrison Kelso Jr. (Melba) of Appomattox, David Kelso (Debra) of Dallas, Andrew Kelso of Lynchburg, Mark Kelso of Columbia, S. C. and Debra Tucker (Alvin) of Spout Spring; her siblings, Sherman L. Flowers (Frankie) of Spout Spring and Arleatha Dixon of Washington, D. C.; her half-sister Berniece Turner of Washington, D. C.; and her siblings-in-law, Nathaniel Kelso of Washington, D. C. and Helen Kelso of Appomattox. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
