She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Jackson "Buster" Wilson, Jr.; her parents, Haven Boyce "Bob" Fields and Emma Violia Mann Fields; her daughter Katie Sue Stapleton; her sister Mildred Jean; her brother-in-law Buck Thompson; her brother Haven McLeonard; her sister-in-law Carolyn Fields; and her granddaughters, Hannah Taylor and Rebecca Daniels.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Earl Mayberry (Sandra Martin) of Spout Spring, Richard Douglas Mayberry, Sheila Anne Booker (Brian) of Gladstone, Laura Jane Nash (Allen) of Appomattox and Lesley Dawn Winders of Phenix; and her granddaughter Julie Lorraine Thompson. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Robinson Funeral Home (667 Court St, Appomattox, VA 24522). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
