She was predeceased by: her spouse Haywood McKinley Nuckles; her parents, Frances Miles Cheatham and William "Billy" Wingfield Cheatham; her brothers, Marshall Cheatham, Roy Cheatham, Robert Cheatham and James Cheatham; and her sister-in-law Frances Cheatham.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Debra Orr of Appomattox; her stepgrandson Kevin Orr; her siblings, Richard Cheatham, Thacker Cheatham (Marie), H. T. Cheatham (Delores), Ralph Cheatham (Shirley), Joyce Sayre (Larry) and Peggy Moore (Billy); and her sisters-in-law, Dolores Cheatham, Sarah Cheatham, Jackie Schropp and Juanita Cheatham. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
