He is survived by: his wife Kathy Canterbury Brown; his mother Carol Rose Buckner of Lynchburg; his children, Scott Nivens (Shannon) of Lynchburg and Stefanie Walker (Lovis Walker III) of Appomattox; his grandchildren, Colton Moon, Dakota Walker, Justin Walker, Kiera Walker, Natalie Nivens and Calvin Prescott Nivens; his great grandchild Kayson Joyner; and his sisters, Donna Brown of Lynchburg and Dianne Brown.
