It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dolores Dinkins Cheatham of Spout Spring, Virginia, born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Miles "Bobby" Cheatham; her parents, Leone McFaden Dinkins and James Abram Dinkins; and her sister Rosalia D. Ballowe. She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Cheatham of Spout Spring, Carolyn Muniz (Hector) of Stafford and Jimmy Cheatham of Spout Spring; her siblings, Karen Dinkins (David Spencer) of Roanoke and Gary Dinkins (Pat) of Tyler, TX; her granddaughter Heather; her great grandchildren, Tay and Dee; and her aunt Linda Wood of Lynchburg. She is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
