He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Spencer Sauls and Madeline Virginia Failes Sauls; and his siblings, Robert Spencer Sauls, Jr., Lee McWilliams, Judith L. Sauls and Sally Ann Sauls.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Joyce Sauls (Carson); his children, Ward Sauls (Krista) and Chantel Elder (David) of Spout Spring, VA; and his granddaughter Brianna Faith Elder of Spout Spring, VA..
