He was predeceased by: his parents, Whitney Swan and Lucille Swan; his uncle Henry Swan; his niece Cindy Landry; and his nephew Tommy Roddy.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Swan of Spotsylvania, VA; his son Tony Eddins (Carrie) of Fredericksburg, VA; his grandsons, Andrew, Austin (Shannon Kate) and Justin Eddins; his children, Misty Begnaud (Jason) and Whitney J. Swan, III; his sister Linda Roddy (Tom) of Abita Springs, LA; his niece Jayme Roddy (Kevin) of Abita Springs, LA; and his aunt Mary Swan of Fredericksburg, VA.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moser Funeral Home, Inc. (233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton, VA 20186). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at the Mount Holly Cemetery.
