She was predeceased by: her husband Forrest Irving; her parents, Robert B. Chenault and Myrtle Farmer Chenault; and her siblings, Ralph, Aubrey, Possie, Otis Chenault, Ida Stanley, Charlotte Hayden and Thelma Cheadle.
She is survived by: her children, Mark (Janet), Timothy (Denise), Joy Terry (Robert) and Philip (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Jordan Irving, Kristen, Timothy Irving, Chistiana Travier (Dennis), Michael Day, Devin Day, Brandon Day, Roemi, Philicia Irving, Andrea Anderson, Andrew Staples and Jackson Irving; her great grandchildren, Aniya Knight, Diasia, Nalayah Travier, Darren, Isaiah Day, Story and Effie Day; and her sister Phyllis Ellis. She is also survived by her husband, children and grandchildren.
