It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Ray Roop of Spotsylvania, Virginia, who passed away on April 14, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stephen Ray Roop to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Yong Roop; and his mother Edna Roop. He is survived by: his children, Chad Roop (Angela), Sean Roop (Julia) and Dale Roop Sr. (Amanda); his grandchildren, Stephen (Abby), Autumn, Alanna, Dale Jr., August, Logan, Mary, Regan, Zachary and Easton; his great grandchild Zoe; his father Keith Roop; and his siblings, Stanley Roop (Deborah), Cheryl (Jim) and Michael (Connie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association in memory of Stephen.
