Shelia Embrey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shelia Embrey of Spotsylvania, Virginia, who passed away on January 26, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Embrey and Ada Embrey; her daughter Angela Jarrell; and her sisters, Myrtle Breeden and Edna Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Jones (Robbie); her grandsons, Matthew Gore (Kaitlynn McDonald) and Conner Jones; her great grandchild Orion Gore; and her siblings, Lily Mae Weakley, Archie Embrey (Emily), Peyton Embrey (Carol), Genevieve Newton and Gloria Elmore (Richard). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Building Fund (12714 Elk Run Road, Midland, VA 22728).
