With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Harrington Lavin of Spotsylvania, Virginia, who passed away on January 1, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Ruth Harrington had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Ruth Harrington may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Harrington and Harry Harrington; her husband Jack Lavin; and her son John Francis Lavin, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Dean Michael Lavin (Michelle) and Jeffrey Alan Lavin (Gina). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and other loving extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Fredericksburg (10719 Courthouse Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22407). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Found and Sons Funeral Chapels (10719 Courthouse Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22407).
