He was predeceased by: his father Willie Ray Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Ann Hunter of Spotsylvania, Virginia; his son Lewis Kirk Hunter (Christina); his grandchildren, Cheyanne, Star, Gabriel and Cordelia of North Pole, Alaska; his son Skyler Clay Hunter of North Pole, Alaska.; his mother Willa Dean Hunter; and his brothers, Jimmy Hunter (Karen), David Hunter (Caroline), Darrell Hunter and Robin Hunter (Darla). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
