He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Belle Stanley and Robert Talley Sr.; his stepfather William Perry (Tom); and his brothers, Frank Marvin Talley and Albert Thurman Moss.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Lydia Sharpe; his siblings, Betty Rumsey, Eunice Hensley and Shirley Davis; his children, Florence Lamb, Robert Talley III and Chris Talley; and also Duchess. He is also survived by his grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Talley's Family Cemetery. Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lacy Funeral Home (6241 Cross County Rd, Mineral, VA 23117).
