He was predeceased by: his wife Nell Kennedy Dickinson; and his brother Earl. He is survived by: his brother Lumber Co; his children, Kenneth (Ann) of Richmond, Sue Ellen Ponschke (Paul) of Fredericksburg and Leigh Ann Dickinson (Paul Miller) of Virginia Beach; his grandchildren, Abby Moncrief (Kevin), Rob Dickinson (Morgan) of Richmond, Sarah Baker (Austin) of Raleigh, NC and Haley Miller of Virginia Beach; his great grandchildren, Bryant, Winston, Hilton Moncrief and Holt Baker; his siblings, Roger Dickinson of Richmond and Lorine Brown (Billy) of Spotsylvania; his niece Wendy Brown Marrs (Frankie); and his friend Billy Edenton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
