We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2021, at the age of 72, Robert Otto Benton Jr. of Spotsylvania, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Otto Benton, Sr. and Eugenia Benton. He is survived by: his wife Trena Y. Costello; his children, Ben (Carmen), Jessie (Dave), Will and Mary (Jeff); the mother of his children Linda S. Benton; and his stepchildren, Crystal (Jason), Donnie (Mary) and Amber (Steve). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Zoo or Virginia Living Museum.
