He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Jett and Shirley Jett; and his brother William "Billy" Jett. He is survived by: his wife Carla Ann Knight Jett; his children, Richard "Little Ricky" Jett of Spotsylvania, Monica Morris (Mike) of Mineral, Michael Jett of Spotsylvania and Stephen Jett (Amanda) of Mineral; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, McKenzi, Hunter, Airiana and Emmalyn "Emmie"; and his siblings, Robert Jett of King George, Linda Cole (Gary) of Spotsylvania, Lori Shelton of Spotsylvania and Kathy Curtis of Spotsylvania.
