He is survived by: his wife Shannon Woodbury Carter; his children, Lauren Carter and Jackson Carter; his grandson Wyatt Moore; his parents, Phil Carter and Jeannie Carter; and his brother John Carter (Leah). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Covenant Funeral Service - Fredericksburg (10830 Patriot Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22408). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery (1193 White Oak Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22405).
