As Mildred departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mildred may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mildred leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her former husband Paul Besel; her sons, Steven, Dennis and Thomas; her husband David F. Thomas; and her children, Terrill and Jeffrey. She was also cherished by her five children and their spouses; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister; and a brother.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fredericksburg Food Bank or to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
