It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Walter of Spotsylvania, Virginia, who passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Lucille shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lucille farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Walter; and her brother Nelson Hicks. She is survived by: her children, Virginia Morgan and David Young (Marty); her granddaughters, Brittany Lee and Samantha Brown; her great grandchildren, Ariana Young, Jahzelle Samuels and Levi Brunson; and her siblings, John Hicks and Nannie Kendall.
