It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laviolette Matthews of Spotsylvania, Virginia, born in Brockport, New York, who passed away on March 26, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Gerald Francis Pecor; and her grandparents, Burnice, Jerry Pecor, Robert and Laviolette Van Valzah.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Joseph Matthews of Baltimore, MD.; her grandchild Vaughn Scott; her friend Dr. Marvin Marshall; her mother Hale Van Valzah-Pecor of Spotsylvania; her children, Vaughn Scott Matthews (Brianna) of Culpeper and Christi Lynn Litz (William) of Westminster, MD.; her grandchildren, Emilee Morgan Litz, William Riley Litz, Sarah Elizabeth Litz and Landon Joseph Matthews; and her aunt Roan Grapes.
