He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his children, Shelia Cook (Kevin), Juliet Coleman (Gregory), David Tyler (Pamela), Johnnie Tyler (Jennifer) of Spotsylvania, VA, Gloria Lee (Tim) of Fredericksburg, VA, Simon Gatlin of Culpeper, VA and Charlotte Aldridge (Wade) of Fayette, AL; and his siblings, Gerald Tyler of Fredericksburg, VA and Alfreda Freeman (Kenney) of Durham, NC. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren.
