He was predeceased by: his father Ralph G. Deihr, Sr.; his stepfather Alfred James; and his uncle Herbert S. Brooks. He is survived by: his mother Shirley M. Deihr; his siblings, Ralph G. Deihr, Jr. (Charlene), Ernest R. Deihr (Bert) and Teresa D. Striegler (Wayne); his stepson Dale Shelton; his aunt Charlotte Brooks; and his stepsiblings, Juanita Mastin (David), Arlene Brooks (Roger) and Allen James (Jacque). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
