It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jamie D Hardway of Spotsylvania, Virginia, who passed away on December 15, 2021, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jamie D Hardway to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert, Theodosia Engle and Ivan Hardway. He is survived by: his friend Neil Darling; his parents, Celeste and Douglas Hardway (Doug) of Powell, Ohio; his brother Kevin Hardway of Woodside; and his grandmother Bernice Hardway of Fairmont. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

“I know you don’t know me, but I would like to send my deepest condolences. I know that on December 15, your life changed forever. I know this because I witnessed Jamies’s accident. I called for help & was able to locate the vehicle, & stayed with him until the authorities arrived. I want you to know that I tried my hardest to help him but I could not physically get to him. I prayed for him & his family.I hope that you find peace knowing that he is now in a better place.”
