With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jamie A. Cox Sr. of Spotsylvania, Virginia, born in Pound, Virginia, who passed away on July 18, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alfred Cox and Minnie Ann; and his siblings, Avis Cox, Franklin Cox, Irene Wright, Willadean Ingram and Janice Grant.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; his sons, Jamie, Jr. (Karen), Robert (Regina) and Kevin (Eileen); his grandchildren, Shane Cox, Nick Cox, Ashley Cox, Katina Martin (Chad), Minnie Barnes (Ricky) and Cory Taylor (Amber); and his siblings, Lutty Mullins (Bill), Lardy Osborne and Gail Thompson (Bobby). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
