He was predeceased by: his wife Lily; and his grandson Bryan Perry. He is survived by: his children, Allison Mastin (Tyke), Scott Davis (Glenda), Stephanie Mastin (Jimmy) and Wendy Perry (Jonathan); and his brother Clyde Davis (Connie). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that anyone wishing to donate to do so to the Spotsylvania S.E.C.A., Provisions Thrift Shop, or Travelers Rest Baptist Church.
