He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Filter and Lorraine Filter; and his brothers, Keith Filter and Dennis Filter. He is survived by: his children, Carl Filter (Heidi), Keith Filter (Shana) and Trisha Deane (Kevin); his grandchildren, Kelsea Filter, Karina Filter, Sonja Filter and Kailyn Deane; and his sister Janice Waugaman (Ned).
