He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Mercer Dickinson and Virginia Gardner; his stepparents, Dorothy Dickinson and Marvin Gardner; his son David Dickinson; and his granddaughter Callen Fraley.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara B. Dickinson; his children, Loretta Fraley, Keith Thompson (Elaine), Debra Paessler and Robert Dickinson; his grandchildren, Benjamin West, Lanie Beth Sinclair, Leslie Wilkins, Matthew Paessler, Gabrielle Nichole Nelson and Isaac Fraley; his great grandchildren, Rowan Sinclair, Darby Sinclair, Lilith Parker, Azrael Nelson, Scarlett Nelson and Eleanor Wilkins; and his sisters, Virginia May Hayden, Patsy Delano, Ruth Paker, Barbara Dickinson and Dorothy Galligan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews along with their children and grandchildren.
