She was predeceased by: her daughter Mary Lum; her former husband Johnny Nalls; her husband Richard Orton; her siblings, Shirley Overby, Mary Sloan and Howard Mann; and her parents, Irene Sloan and Alfred Mann.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Johnson (Anthony), Lori Petrovitch (David), Robin Self and Shelley Dumont (David); her sister Betty Goode; and her great grandchildren, Brandon Johnson, Toni Lundmark, Dustin McCroskey, Christy Lum, Lisa Lum, Bronson Sarver, Thomas Blankenship, Clifford Blundo, Ryan Blundo and Nathan Blundo. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Mom loved flowers but also supported Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, SPCA, Compassion Rescue, and the Spotsylvania Animal Shelter.
