He was predeceased by: his daughter Carol Ann; and his parents, Edward Allen and Amy Van Allen. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; and his sons, David Edward (Paula) and Robert (Song). He is also survived by three grandsons; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Christ Lutheran Church (1300 Augustine Ave, Fredericksburg, VA 22401).
