He was predeceased by: his daughter Jennifer Childers White; his parents, Julie Childers and Flem Childers; and his siblings, Thelma Mullins and Randall Childers.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his sons, Chris Childers and Jeff Childers (Heather); and his brother Carson Childers. He is also survived by his grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and other loving extended family.
