He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Marshall Wood and Mattie Ellen Wood; and his siblings, Frances, Ruthann and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Wood; his children, Kimberlee Wood (Tommy), Melissa Jacobs (Wyatt) and Shawn Wood (Jennifer); and his stepchildren, Jackie Starling (Tripp), Leonard Brand II (Sonya) and Victoria Webster (George). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
