She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Willard Elmore and Louise Dell Caldwell; and her brothers, Bernard Willard Elmore and Howard Lee Elmore. She is survived by: her husband John Marshall Adams; her siblings, Virginia E Powell (Ginny) and Darryl Nick Elmore; her half-brother James Willard Elmore (Jamie); her daughters, Louise "Lynn" Morgan (William Low Morgan) of Spotsylvania and Kimberly Sue Montgomery (James F. Montgomery); her stepdaughter Andrea Lynn Adams of Louisiana; her grandchildren, Tonya Lynn Isemann (Micheal), James Richard Montgomery (Crystal), Jessica Lee Clendennen (Cody), Rebecca Louise Montgomery and Taylor Sue Montgomery; and her great grandchildren, Logan Micheal Isemann, Olivia Lynn Isemann, Joanna Luray Clendennen and Arthur Gene Clendennen.
The family also requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made directly to one of two charities, Just A Hand at PO Box 1362 Locust Grove, VA 22508 or Compassion Animal Rescue at 10703 Stoner Drive Fredericksburg, VA 22408.
