We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2021, at the age of 89, Alberta Sorrell Brooks of Spotsylvania, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charlie Brooks; her parents, Robert Sorrell and Lena Sorrell; and her brother Linwood Sorrell. She is survived by: her children, Charleen Carter (Kelly) and Steve Brooks; her grandson Jason Carter (Sue); her siblings, Earl Sorrell (Arlene), Evelyn Atchison (Robert), Iris Hatchel and Darnell Dillard (Russell); and also Lynn Robertson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Mary Washington Hospice, 2300 Fall Hill Avenue # 401B, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
