He was predeceased by: his father Larry Richard Cobbler; and his grandparents, William "Buddy", Ruth Goard, Richard and Mildred Cobbler.

He is survived by: his children, Haley Cobbler of Lawsonville, NC, Shine Cobbler (Jose) of Stuart, Ethan Cobbler of Stuart, Tyler Cobbler of Stuart and Leia Cobbler of Stuart; his stepfather Danie Goard Dillinger (Butch); his sister Tina; his brother-in-law Todd Nelson of Ararat; his aunt Phyllis Griffin of Patrick Springs; and his uncle Doug Cobbler of Spencer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
