She is survived by: her son Robert Michael France; her husband John W. Watts; her daughter Carrie France Pierce; her sisters, Kimberly Brown, Suzanne Brewster and Virginia Grant; and her grandsons, Carson Michael Sherman and Parker Grant Pierce.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
