With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Buford Allen Barbour of Spencer, Virginia, who passed away on February 22, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Pete Barbour and Estelle Deal Barbour; his siblings, Leon Cooper, Doug Cooper and Carol DeBruhl; and his half-brother J. P. Barbour.
He is survived by: his wife Myra Elizabeth Stone Barbour; his children, Lisa Barbour Wilkinson (Gregory Nie Wilkinson), Revonda Barbour Gilbert (Christopher Dean Gilbert) and Gregory Allen Barbour; his daughter-in-law Sandra Astudillo Barbour; his grandchildren, Trevor Wilkinson (Amanda Wilkinson), Karleigh Wilkinson (ShaVun Taylor), Christian Gilbert (Makayla Gilbert) and Ethan Gilbert (Amanda Gilbert); and his great grandchildren, Kayden Taylor and Connor Gilbert. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
